It was a wonderful first Mother's Day for me. Ryan slept in late and woke up with a big smile on his face! That was the best way to start my day. We got ready and went to church at Glen Haven to surprise Grandmama (Nick's mom) for Mother's Day. Mimi was out of town visiting Aunt Clelia and Uncle Eric. We got to see Nicole, Jesse, Georgia and Grant on our way into the church. Also, the Gerdes' were at church with their new baby girl, Sage. It was so good to see her in person for the first time and she is cute. After the church service, we headed over to Milano's for lunch. It was a delicious meal and we all enjoyed it. We had one last stop in Conyers before we headed back to home. Katelyn Seymour, Aunt Jessica's college roommate, graduated from college and had a party. We stopped by her graduation party to help her celebrate. We really enjoyed ourselves and it was good to see her family.
After a long day down in Conyers and McDonough, we headed back home. Ryan got to give me his Mother's Day present. He "finger painted' me a card with the help of Daddy. They did a great job on it. It was a cute, sweet idea. I added a picture of it below this blurb. Plus, Ryan and his (sneaky) Daddy got me a Beaba Babycook. Nick and I are both really excited about this product and how easy it is to use and clean.
Here are a few pictures from Mother's Day. I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day!
